E&C, Zombocom: I have no idea what that means  :O

but anyway:

Why is the lack of support such a big problem really? You can still play the game: the rules are available to download, totally free (and youre free to choose: Netepic, E:A, etc). Minis are available from many sources, ebay, online GW, etc. I had a much harder time finding minis here in Sweden in the nineties, specifically, before I discovered ebay. And I only buy 1st-2ed stuff, that stuff is ancient now, but you find everything!

Example: I recently got a 1st ed metal SM biker captain with a small package of marine bikes and speeders. I didnt even notice it in the pic on ebay - I thought I had bought a handful of old plastics. I didnt even know this mini existed, and it must have been OOP since 1989!!!

My point is, I think the situation is better than ever for epic gamers, except for one thing: the lack of players (at least in some places).

Just my thoughts...

I'm so cool you could keep a side of meat in me for a month.

I'm so hip I can barely see over my own pelvis.

Thanks for your post, Ryan. I've been reading these forums pretty much since I discovered E:A (thanks to a mate over here who is right into it), and I've been very happy to see how vibrant the community is.  :)

That is already the case. I have struggled to come to grips with the system in my first few games (particularly against the Eldar), but I have managed one win.

I actually have had an Ultramarines army from 1st Ed Epic (about 20 years ago?) that I never got to play with because my mates at the time (when I was 15 or so) weren't into it--we were all about the Rogue Trader.  :)

So these days, I have my original Ultramarines plus some new ones I have bought this year, and I have just a couple of days ago expanded my forces with a landing craft, drop pods, and a Strikecruiser, as well as two Warhounds and two Reavers from ForgeWorld. Woo-hoo!
