Whats up people. I love the sergeant mini. I use him as much as I can.
My favorite minis (and I am always right)
Favourite: Infantry trooper : Epic 40k Chaos Sorceror Light Vehicle : SM2/TL Eldar Vyper Standard Tank : I almost want to say the trusty old plastic Rhino (which I think they did a great job with), but I think the Epic 40k Eldar Falcons are simply the best done in this scale. Super Heavy : Epic 40k Scorpion Flyer : Any combo of the Epic 40k Ork Fighter Bomber Titan (type and class) : Reaver, with a Powerfist, Multi-Launcher, and Lascannon. Second would be the SM2/TL Ork Great Gargant with the goggle eyes. Other (in case I missed anything) : Just about anything on the Epic 40k Eldar Infantry sprue, and I do think some of the Eldar Knights from SM1 are classics (not all, but some)
Least favourite
Infantry trooper: Original Chaos Marines (I don't care if there were one of each power) Light Vehicle: SM2/TL Imperial Bikers (Never used them so I thought they were a waste of plastic) Standard Tank: Original Hellhound. God that thing sucked. Or the boxy Vindicator (I think the 2nd one). Both hurt my eyes. Super Heavy: Leviatian Flyer: Squat Overlord Titan (type and class): Was never big on the original Warhound, although I am a big fan of Forge World's Epic 40k version, but even still the original isn't as bad as the new one, which I like to pretend doesn't exist. Screw it, the Epic 40k Eldar Revenant Titan sucks the worst. Other (in case I missed anything): SM1 Imperial Knights. There was only two that I liked. The rest I agree with Legion on. I can't for the life of me, understand how they ever made it to the production line.
Keep in mind I have been a big fan since AT/SM, so I even have a place in my heart for the original plastic Ork Battlewagons and MK.6 Marines. I think the best models and designs came during Epic 40k, but there are some classics from the early editions. I think many of the worst did come from SM2/TL.
