Yes I was after ideas for what you guys were going to use them as. Remember, I haven't played SM or netepic etc, so am not familiar with what rules have been used in the past. And even in Epic40K, I never had anything to do with Orks. (I was a pansy worshipper)
So, what would you guys think for rules? I've had a little think. Painboyz could give the ability of invulnerable to a stand, representing them healing wounds.
Shokk attack gunz (I dont know what they did before) could have the ability of disrupt.

Hi!
The equivalent effect of this unnit in later rules would be that of "disruption". So whatever effects you give it along those lines would be in keeping with what the model used to do.
For general information, the shokk attack gun, in the old days, opens a limited warp gate to where frenzied snotlings frazzled by their short warp trip immediately come out the other side and atack whatever is there. It was translated in close combat with bonuses for addtional attackers if any. If you where lucky the targeted unit would be destroyed because the warp gate open up "inside" the target, with very nasty results.

He he, that sounds good fun.
I know Jervis had to abstract a little for the Orks, but surely it wouldn't have been hard to have a painboy as an upgrade 0-1 giving invulnerable to the Nobz/warlord stand. And so on for Weirdboyz etc.

i think it is a mistake to remove the character models. ?I love them, they add spice and variety even if there aren't any rules for some of them. ?Rank and file is boring, and nothing is more cheesy than a tactical marine with a banner on him. ?I think this will just make the Epic40k ones worth more. ?I think when players do get the new sprues they'll think they are boring. ?I think the Epic40k ones are just the best period.

As I said, we use each Tech, Lib., etc. on a separate stand as in SM2. We even use Pain Boy/Mad Doc., Mekboy, Warphead, Weird Boy, etc. for Orks, and Cypher for Chaos. Just use your imagination. We do use Shokk Attack Gunz as Big Gunz ... an easy fix ...

Even if it had added a MW attack and invulnerability, it still would have been better to just buy more nobz/boyz for the points. Heck, even with MW, invulnerability, reinforced armor, and thick rear armor, it still would have been better.

It looks good overall. I just have a few things to suggest.
I would stick to buying things in "even lots" as far as formation size. The price of units as extras is pretty high in comparison. For example, instead of taking 2 KoS of 10 units, for the same price, you could almost field one KoS of 8 and one of 16.
Personally, I think stompas are overpriced (there's a guns v stompas thread somewhere). I would drop the 2 extra stompas and pick up 4 dreads instead (which are also cool models).
I would also fill in the Gunzmob to Big or Uge size and add all the nobz allowable. They're kind of fragile and they really need large numbers and nobz to shake off BMs.
But really, I would have no problem with it as-is.

Hi Guys,
I need some hlpe here because I seem to be going nowhere fast.
When I first had the Epic release list there were details of what the blister of landspeeders should consist of. Whats more I am sure that originally the landspeeders were a combination of Typhoon, Tornado and normal landspeeder, totally five models and I am not sure if it was one typhoon, one tornado then three landspeeders.
So need a confirmation there.
Secondly when I checked up on the SG website there are only five landspeeders all with the picture of multi meltas. There is no mention of Tornados or Typhoons, am I going crazy? What happened to them? Is that how they are sold nowadays?
The reason why I ask is because I found two packs of landspeeders that I wanted to paint up with exactly the contents originally stated; land speeders, Typhoon and Tornado. Does anyone else have these packs?
If so, how are they constructed? The E:A rule book pictures look different from this link:
http://www.agisn.de/html/black_templars.html
There is an assault cannon stuck on the bottom of the body of one of the speeders. When I look at all the parts only one has an extra hole to add the weapon, and on the same sprue as the assault cannon is a multi melta which looks like you can fit underneath.
On the main speeder body, when looking at it as if its facing you on the back where the rear housing is on the right side, there seems to be a little hole for som, ething to slot into, can anyone help to work out which weapons fit in? As it doesnt seem so obvious.
If anyone can help out I would really appreciate it.
I checked out

O.K. Doug, Here's as I see it: ?
I have a blister of E:A L/S. - There are 3 model types, of the 5 in the pack. ? - The Typhoon is the L/S with the 3 dots on the flash aft, the M/Ls mount on the flanks of that model. - There are 3 dots on the M/L sprue. Plus glue a weapon of your choice in front of the gunner and this is the same on all L/S models. - The Tornado is the L/S with 2 dots on the flash aft, and a hole under the front portion of the hull. (This is called a "chin" mount with choppers) ? - There is a sprue with 2 dots with 2 weapons which either can fit in that hole. - And again mount a weapon on the rail in front of the gunner. - The other three L/S only have a weapon mounted on the rail in front of the gunner. ? - But with the extra "chin" weapon, I'll mount that on one of these. ?
Hope that helps!

It does thanks L4, I dont think I was paying attention some time ago when I clip them off the sprues for priming although I have matched the weapons from another blister.
Does anyone know if theses are still being sold as blisters containing the Typhoon, Tornado and landspeeders or has that changed?
