TuffSkull, pics look good. I can identify two of the armies you weren't sure of.
The Sons of Medusa Space Marine army is indeed Scott Baird's and the Imperial Guard army belongs to Chris Taylor. They are both Regular opponents of mine at WW.

Since the topic of playtesting came up, can one of you guys with a book tell me if I made it in there?
I replied to JJs email but he sent it to an account I don't check very often and it was near the deadline for changes. I don't remember if he said one way or another whether I would make it in.

I think you should be disqualified from the credits page for your disturbing habit of never posting URLs to the Forum.
Truly shocking behaviour.

Look...its the Green Eyed Monster | I REALLY dont think you want to start that up here...again. You WILL get several people flashed up in a BIG way, general happiness on this forum aside. Look through the archives first if you feel inclined.
In the end I am didnt make the "Magnificent Seven" but was in the top 10 (well, until I went to Sea for two months that is) so I was happy to have been involved in the process. Dissappointing too that it all got reset in the switch to the new forums. Oh well
It was a good experiment, but needs to be tightened up a bit to ensure valid arguments are carried, and that some behind the scenes manouevring is abolished. A lot of people (some here) went away thinking that their opinions didnt count or were ignorned for reasons various.
And in the end I cant buy it in my country anyway!

And, to be blunt, if buddy doesn't want a response he should keep the cheap shots to himself.
I didn't see one of the amusing smilies this board features attached to his post so I have to assume he's taking the piss out of the folks in the credits...making him fair game in my books.
If thats an issue then address the source of the problem first and get the rest of us sh*t disturbers afterwards.

Oh good God! ?
OK. While I cannot pretend to speak for anyone involved...
I feel that Jimbo's comment was fair, but perhaps put badly. Yes, 'quantity did win out over quality'. That is the way it worked and in the end it is up to Jervis who gets credited. He could not (and should not) have listed every name. Obviously, by some strange over-sight he missed me out, but I am sure that this will be rectified in the second edition (how is that for optimism?). ?
I cant actually think of any other way of giving credits that would have been 'fairer' (by that I mean not relying on his own personal judgement).
I can understand that there are people (probably quite a few) who feel that it should not be based on weight of posts, but I dont take any non-inclusion as any snub or disregard of the value of a single post.
These boards should run parallel to the Vault (I think of the two as Ying and Yang), and on occassion provide a safe haven for those who feel disillussioned in some way with the Vault. It happens (all the people, all the time kind of thing), and I am sure that no-one thinks that Jervis believes that 'ten empty posts are counted more than a single informative one'.
I think what Tas means is that this kind of discussion has come up in one form or another here before. There is a feeling that at times it is the loudest voice that is listened to in exclusion of other comments and that sometimes it feels that the post count a member has is regarded as much as the comment that is made. [Disclaimer: These views are not necessarily represent by the individual making this post, or the boards in general!]
Now, can we drop this and all play nice? Thanks.

*voice of the universal voiceover man* And so, once more a heroic leader steps bravely forward into the breach, with nothing more than a keyboard between him and the onslaught of the webgoing public. Will his single handed human wall be enough to prevent the forum from cumbling? Will EpiComms decay into biccering ruin? Can anyone now post a serious or indeed heated reply after this drivelling post? Heres hoping not, but only time shall tell..... *End voiceover*
It seems I need caffeine....

Primarch | I too am taking the Epic Tau plunge shortly...no doubt it will be piddling and insignificant to the impending Primarchload!
