Just a quick question.

Whats the diameter of a roll of barbed wire? Thinking about a meter, but just want to be sure.

I doubt there's any one size but funny you ask as I just helped someone string more on their ranch and the bundles had 500mm on the packaging (so I suspect they probably make several diameter rolls otherwise why print it?)

I've seen ranges from 400mm to around a metre, depending on the task it's required for. Average is probably somewhere around two feet/600mm.

Yes, as noted it will vary. That pic you posted and the one I posted we called "concertina" or Razor Wire . And it came bundled up in rolls of about 24 inches(?). But it varies based on how it's deployed. The way I did it, was to use florist wire and roll it around a pencil. And then when you go to mount it, stretch it out to look as in pics.

Barb wire is on a spool and it fed out and mounted on pickets or other devices. Barb wire is a usually a double strand of wire wrapped around each other and had barbs bent around in between. So in Epic scale it would look like just thin strands of wire.

Nice! I did the same, but used Metal Car repair mesh instead. If you cut along än individual thread, it will look like real reazor wire

Plombendraht (literal translation seal wire, is used in combination with a lead seal or such) is available in diameter of a quarter of a millimetre.

It looks very "barb wirely", because the wire isn't smooth, but bumpy.
Some seem to be two wires drilled a bit like a rope, others have a wire running around a core wire.
