I was at my local gaming store and noticed the GF9 Battlefield in a Box Space Station Lasers set. Most of it is based on the Death Star Turrets (and the Rebel Ion Cannon on Hoth too). This was made for X-Wing (10mm to 15mm) but I think for EA terrain purposes, it will look good.
I like the modular design of it so you can make two turret towers (short, medium or tall). I also like that the barrels for both turbo-laser turrets just click-in anywhere along the track, you don't have to glue them since they stay in place. Perhaps after snapping them in place over time, they may not stay. The barrel for the large round "ion cannon" does not stay in place, still requires gluing. It's a nice heavy resin and quality feel to it.
It's a pre-painted kit, a little darker than shown on the box, which is fine with me. I might give it a slight dry brush in some areas. Second picture shows scale next to a 6mm base and a Epic ruined wall.
I paid $39, but FRPGames.com and eBay has them for $35.
