hi all, working towards an epic mega battle in the summer, i have started buying up bits and pieces of terrain. i have a stack of buildings from the old boxed sets, a set of walls some roads and paved tile areas plus some misc ruined plaster cast buildings. we want to have a city to fight over, but i would like to have parts of the city to be objectives rather than just a big mill up around buildings. heres some of the areas i was thinking. 1 power plant 2 airport/starport 3 industrial area (tank/titan manufacture area) 4 food/water storage/production 5 administration/palace/hospital looking for advice on suitable companies who have 6mm buildings who might fit with the 5 areas above, or even tutorials on suitable buildings for each area? any info appreciated many thanks John |

For food/water storage i recommend this kit (and related ones from same range): http://www.thewarstore.com/product18602.html I junk modled a star-port recently, you can see photos of the bits used in this thread, might give you some ideas: viewtopic.php?f=28&t=26479&start=30 ![]() |

JR Minis Gateshead Gaming Xmarx (sp?) Make sure you dig through all sizes as there's a ton of 28mm stuff that works just dandy in other scales |

In addition a bunch of stuff is easily scratch built as well Roads: .25mm tile plasticard cut for sidewalks glued onto .5-1mm polysty sheets makes fantastic durable roads Industrial: Packaging materials, lids/bottle covers, the little plastic bit they put on pizza deliveries, old broken electronics, etc all make for good parts and basis of industrial sectors |

Hi! It reminds me of the evocative terrains from epic's beginning in AT. Great stuff! Primarch |

There has just been a kickstarter with very nice modular grimdark buildings. Sort of like the same idea I used in my nurgle plog (a few pages back), only much easier and better in most ways. I used some wwII stuff from leven miniatures that when beefed up with heavier elements works quite well too. |
