See if you can guess the packaging that became these :)

The backs need filling with some sort of detail - anybody have any suggestions?
At the moment I'm torn between blank smooth walls and a simple texture of panel blocks.

The idea is to be able to use each wall singly, or double them up to get a properly thick wall. This means the backs can't slope outwards. The smooth long panels will probably have gates added onto them, so that will also show up on the back.
I'm hoping to put walkways along the top for long bases, but am worried it might add too much width to a full wall.

The white stuff is ultra lightweight filler - a wee bit crumbly, but incredibly good for this kind of job. End pieces and corners are also in the works.

Think i'd go with panels, maybe with some card strip strut work, or use corrugated cardboard with the corrugations sticking out. Or some strips of that plastic strap stuff they put around big parcels/crates sometimes, tends to have a good texture on it.

They've got a nice shape to them like that.

Experimenting with the back a little more.

Good point - becuase the filler drys hard, I can run along it with a dremel and I get a perfect slot for a card strip walkway to slot in.

Cable tie along the bottom, planning on some sort of scraped in detail above it. Will let filler dry and sand it back first.
Then the columns under the walkway, though they themselves need details added. Every third or so might get a very thin cable tie 'ladder' sunk into it (sawcut).
I think I need some strippine around the top and botton of each col, and maybe some wires or pipework.

Post painting there can be lots of 'painted' detail - assembly points, propoganda posters ect, so I guess they'll look ok.
