Anyone have a good 6mm gothic-y modular trench line set that they know of?
There's plenty of good, nay scratch that, GREAT fortress walls out there. However my plan would be the build up or rather cut out and embed a nice trench line for use in our local gaming group in a table piece. I can fabricate what I need out of platicard and balsa but at the rate my projects are moving along this would take me till about the time my kids are going to collage ;D

I'd be interested in a cool trench system also.

IIRC MikeT was working on something like this..... I shall question him as it is relevant to my upcoming 'Baran Kriegmasters' army..... I think I may have even volunteered to cast up the sections.....

I have some lovely trench master pieces that I never bothered to cast all that many of.
If anyone wants to borrow the masters and make moulds...?

You can also use the fantasy movement tray edges as quick and dirty defence lines for 6mm

Ben, any idea on volume of a section? It would help me calculate resin costs.... Also any bunkers or emplacements? And woukd a single sided mould be ok or are there big ovethangs or undercuts?

Love to borrow your masters mate, but i'm afraid i have no casting experience. How simple would it be for me to have a go at it?

I suppose trench lines would be fairly straight forward to cast up. Any advice appreciated on this.

No idea on volumes it's been a while since I cast any.
I used to cast 'em single sided.

Components were:

10cm long trench
Y shaped trench connector
trench ending "cap"
10cm x 8cm large gun pit / bunker

Yeah, how many sections?

@E&C maybe we can swap the goods at the campaign weekend?

I'm very keen to pick up a load of those really nicely designed trenches, either from Ben or anyone else taking over them.

I'll likely want 20-30+ sections for my Krieg, but ideally probably not for 6 months or so as need to take care of debts and things first.

If anyone wants defence line sections the chap recently linked to on shapeways for BFG stuff had some 6mm ones a bit reminiscent of the GW ones.

Gents,

Check my terrain log here and the Epic FB page and you can see examples of Ben's work on trenches. He should really make me some more, really need a bunker to put at the head of trench lines and some different junctions. No pressure mate

Cheers
Aaron
