okay i have change my way of making unique pieces of landscape this previous piece of landscape was the first where i used sketch-up for the concept and blueprint stage now i am working on 3 new landscape modules based on Champs Elysées in paris and the real the elysian fields in rome with a triumph arc at the end (this is both in rome and paris) the idea is a boulevard of mausoleums for the heros of the empire with statues of them as guardians of the boulevard and a triumph arc guarded by 4 statues more here is a picture from sketch-up

Looks great !!  I made/bought enough terrain to do something like that ...   Got the Arch at a hobby shop ... 15mm Sci-fi Egyptians/Jaffa' from GZG make great statues ...                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                       And Pyramids from various sources ...

Very cool Idea! I love the Stargate! I have one of those but packed it away in a move some time ago and haven't retrieved it! Glad to see someone else using one!

I have found more than one cool piece of ruined terrain at the local petshop aquarium aisle too! Love the ruined columns! Thanks for the photos.

WOW. Legion4 what is the textured tile pieces you used for the base on that second Stargate?

I just used plastic sheet with the little grid squares and sprayed them with black paint ... But after the first coat, I stood back and only pushed half-way down on the spray top at a distance of 12-18 inches to give it that grainy look ... once dry brushed with grays ...
