Hi all,

I don't think this manufacturer has been mentioned here before so I thought I'd point them out: I came across their site by looking for BattleTech terrain (same scale as Epic, so I thought I might come across some interesting stuff).

Xmarx.com

Here are some pics:

I've seen their stuff on ebay, but wasn't sure who made it. Thanks for the link.

Thanks for the link to their site. :agree:

I noticed they also do a casting service if anyone is interested.

I've noticed there stuff up on eBay aswell but be aware that their international postage is obscene (from their eBay site with postage to Australia).

Pity, because I really liked the look of some of the pieces but charging such high postage made it out of the question.

Yeah, I have them bookmarked, but the shipping also made a purchase unlikely for me.

My sources tell me that it's an Athena Combat Vehicle.

Sounds pretty realistic for shipping costs, especially with resin which is relatively bulky and heavy.

I've generally underestimated my shipping costs overseas -- USPS, which is the cheapest and least hassle, is still pretty expensive. On the other hand, the surface shipping time _may_ be overestimated: you could see it in 3-4 weeks.

There are flat rate packages, so you may have some luck with larger orders.

$30US for a small airmail package reasonable?  Seriously?  I sent a half pound (232 grams) parcel airmail to the US for $9AUS...or about $6US!  $45AUS is NUTS!
