As you are all doing such a fine job of keeping Epic's profile alive and kicking strongly. Especially with all the stuff I have seen here, on Warseer and Bell of Lost Souls lately, I thought I ought to do my small part.

I don't normally do this but thought you might get a chuckle out of the irony.

As I have more or less finished my replacement boards for the moment, I thought I would enter them for a laugh into GW's Gameboard competition that they are running throughout January on the website. I don't know exactly how many 'Epic' themed boards they will get as I would expect most to be either generic, or for 40K, LotR or WHFB, but thought "what the hey, lets wave the flag for Epic!"

Citadel Gameboard Competition Entries ... spot the odd one out!

No laughing at the back please, it's a serious business and I shall not be intimidated by all those oversized buildings and craters. Mine maybe smaller scale but I'll take on any of them 40K boards and their pansy skull pits any day!

PS: The link can be found on the UK Games Workshop website under 'Latest News' in case it is not your local site and the link behaves a bit ... well, Chaos-y.

Carl

MoK, haven't you learnt yet that comments from some certain individuals on this board must be ignored for ones spiritual integrity?

How I hate that new GW site, the link (as friggin' usual nowdays) doesn't work. What bits do I need to click to get there?

Nothing right now as the site is down for maintenance.

Beautiful...I've watched your progress on your Dropship website and your rationales and struggles with scale (skull pits) and the inherent challenges of the materials etc. Your boards are inspirational and you sites painting advice and modeling tips a worthy educational clinic!

ALL the entries show how good these boards can be. I'd be thrilled to play on any of 'em! Thanks Carl for posting and maintianing a firm grip on the EPIC players banner for us. I hope the boards did well!

Applause! Appplause! (standing ovation) Applause! Applause!
