Has anyone got one from these guys, http://hotwirefoamfactory.com/home.php?cat=3 For foam terrain modeling would you really just use the hot wire cutter or are the hot knife and engraving tool also useful? |

i have something similar to the #K02 and i would recommend it. The suspended wire allows you to mold things much better than a knife. |

I've got the GW one and it doesnt cut as deep as I would like it to. The GW isn't as wide as the KO2, but the GW allows you to make deeper cuts. So for small terrain, they're ok. KO3 would probably be ideal for doing larger terrain like mountains. |
