Hey everyone, I notice a lot of ruined and non ruined Imperium-esque buildings being used predominantly, and I was wondering if anyone knew of any cool looking Eldar themed scenery? Or, if anyone had any suggestions of what to use. I plan on making some myself, but I've so far only come up with things like the Avatar from the Cauldron of Blood, and broken Wraithgates etc etc. Any ideas? |

The Dawn of War computer game has some interesting Eldar scenery. You could check that out. |

Do people consider the Eldar structures (not really buildings) in Dawn of War to be canon? I never thought they looked very good (more like halfway between eldar and imperial). Some of the structures are okay, but how many different variations of a warp gate do you need? As for answering the OP's question, you might have some luck looking for fantasy elven terrain, then doing some minor conversion work to add some obviously eldar details. It might be possible to find 10-15mm-scale terrain, but you would have to 'down-scale' it - adjust window and door sizes mostly. Another way to go might be to make Exodite terrain (unless you'r gonna build an entire craftworld table). Exodite structures could look like anything, for all we know. |

What are the sides of the smaller Wraithgate made of? They look familiar, but I can't name them . . . I think I might use the idea of statues and ruined temples. Unless, like mentioned, I go the Exodite way. Since they are all kinda "backwater" then, I really can make whatever. I think the main problem with Eldar scenery is trying to capture the lithe, graceful thin structures from the background on such a small scale. I'll have to see what I can come up with. Thanks for the info / help! -J |

The smaller Gate is made from the blades of the front of the Mega-Gargant ! ![]() ![]() |
