I went into a store to get some paint today and saw these:
http://uk.games-workshop.com/storefr....gnav=10

Very nearly bought them on the spot thinking 'Hey cool - Epic orbital bombardment craters!"

Then I had second thoughts about contributing any money towards something listed under 40k Apocalypse when Epic Armageddon has been cut. Just on the share stubborn minded principle of the matter  :D

What to do... ?  :(

Can't remember the name of the company, but they do vacuum-formed plastic and they have cratered terrain.  Now if I could just remember the name.  I'll dig through my links and see if I saved it.

edit:  found it, Amera Plastic Mouldings

I like the Wargamer ones also, just the right size.  They don't look like a MOAB went off like if you were using a 28mm scale crater.

Also handy for plasma core breaches to mark where a titan once stood :)

Yes, back in '90-'91 G/W sold Vacu-form Craters, some small, some big. I bought a bunch of them. But those new craters, I saw them in WD too, IIRC, look good.  And again, the big ones can be a MOAB, Plasma Reactor explosion, etc., etc. ...   :D
