Anyone got any pictures of Space marine command center or anything with consoles like the one in the land raider?

Trying to make a command control centre, using some ideas from Forge World pieces too, but anyone got any other pictures?

Also I've got a command table, would space marines be sitting at them or would hey be touch and stand there all day?

Also trying to add into the command centre a weapon locker, what would people think would be there? Weapons hung on the wall, ammo boxes only, or just bolters? I doubt I'd have a missile launcher here, but hey, may be useful.

INside a building I'd imagine mainly bolters and bolt pistols. Possibly a flamer for routing out those pesky feral orks from your suit of armor in the morning :p :D

Yep Coffee, (or recaff if you read Ciaphas Cain) I take it E&C has been a squaddie at some point.
The C&C in the RT book has commanders standing around the table. In EoT you've got a servitor plugged into a holo-projector.
There was also an honour gaurd present in the RT version.

Well, in the ROK, I had an M-577 Command Track, Command version of the M113 (see GHQ site for pic). ?Maps and radios, are essential for Cmd Tracks. ?So the SMs would have the 40K versions of those, I would imagine ... :D  A field table would have at least one chair, and there would be weapons racks for the crew, commander and staff.  At least that's the way it was in our M-577s ... :)

I would imagine that instead of a map table it would be some kind of "holo-table" with a 3d representation of the battlefield with icons indicating units.  Of course that would be a pain to model unless you just did the table when it is off.

hmm.. . considering this is epic scale, its gonna be a challenge...

3d holo table... i reckon you'd need some smart and nifty electronics to do that in epic scale lol.

I'm painting the walls a codex grey. Just wondering if I should keep the same colour for the floor? or pick a different colour?

I'm starting small, but hoping to go a long way so wanting to keep the ground simple.

Any suggestions?

The floor should be a worn metallic color ... IMO ... :)

just wondering, what would be on the monitors in an SM HQ.

What colour would you have the displays in?

Would they use windows 40K?
