Hello! :)

So, we've been advertising our website on lots of other sites, such as TMP; from this I got an e-mail from the guy behind Angel Barracks asking if I wanted some free terrain for our gaming center. ?Which of course I accepted! :D

I received the stuff earlier this week, and highly impressed I am too. ?Angel Barracks specialise in 6mm Napoleonic miniatures (I believe they offer a painting service too), but their terrain would be useful for games of Epic, too. ?It comes ready made and pre-painted, and as you can see looks good on a gaming board!

Here's some of the stuff I received:

Trees

Rocks (these would be good for BFG asteroids too, I guess :) )

Walls

Command Tents (probably more useful for Warmaster or Historicals; or maybe for an Epic Tallarn army :;): )

And finally, some sand-bag emplacments and WWII style pill-boxes/bunkers.

I was pretty blown away to receive such a haul, it'll all be put to good use. ?All their stuff can be seen at their website, www.angelbarracks.co.uk.

Thanks for looking!

P.S. if any other companies/manufacturers want to send me samples of their terrain for our gaming centre, I'll gratefully accept them! :;):

:EDIT: Oops, I was meant to post this in Epic Terrain section, could a moderator move it please?  Thanks!

Very nice of them :) The trees are my favourites - no, the rubble walls. No, the tents... :)

I'm sure we can soon expect L4 to quote FRoA about the virtues of "free".  :D

Although it seems more for historical gaming, it looks like they have decent stuff. I like the trees and rocks.

Not Bad and Free is a good thing ... But let's see what the FRoA has to say, shall we ! :;): #59 - Free advice is seldom cheap.  #3 - Never pay more for an acquisition than you have to. #13 - Anything worth doing is worth doing for money.  :alien:

Nice stuff. Especially for free D
I use that type of trees myself. Sure they're not as realistic looking as say Woodland Scenic ones, but there's just something about them that is more "Epic-y" to me. aybe it's because it is the type GW used for their Epic terain back in the old S/TL days... :cool

Hi there,

Just joined after seeing my name in a Google search!!
Thanks for the plug.

I am seriously thinking about specialising in Epic 6mm terrain, is there a market for it?

Please also be aware that the terrain making game is all very new to me, so it is a lerning curve, bare with me and things will only get better.

Many thanks.

Angel Barracks

Welcome aboard!

Is there a market for 6mm terrain? I'm sure everyone here will give you a hearty "Yes!"  :D

Many thanks.

I am working on some razor wire to compliment the anti-tank dragons teeth.

Back when i used to play Epic/Adeptus Titanicus/Space Marine i used to make lots of rubble and craters, do Gw still use these for destroyed buildings and artillery hits?
