especially those filled with discount preserved beverages?

sadly, you might be expected to get excited and shout at a small flickering box in the corner with the rest of the room.

Well, my original joke was the US southwestern pronunciation of 'pictures' to 'pitchers', but your judo-redirection to 'pitchers of beer' was delicious.

And yes, the favorite part of my business visit to in 2000 was the show-and-tell at the Wootton-Bassett pub "The Old Nick".

First batch of components is now resting in a sandwich of sulfur-free clay and silicon.

Lessons learned:

The lack of a rear plate behind the window panes makes molding and casting difficult. It also leads to easily broken masters.

The window panes are also hard to mold correctly because air bubbles in the silicon like to be caught in the corners.

Madd: not so much, about $10 US.

Man, my photography sucks.

Yes, I have lots of flash on the resin. Yes, a few seconds with a blade or file will fix it. Resin is very amenable to shaping.

Nopes. My ad-hoc approach isn't very good. When I resume this project I will probably design an entire Dresden Kirch church wall to see how the pieces all fit together. There may be issues with how thick the backings should be, and so forth.

On a happier note, I now have a good mold of the door with fleur-de-les.

I regenerated some architectural components when I did the custom base print. Pictures available on Thursday.

(Note this is a trick, as I don't specify which Thursday).
