Not a bad idea.  :D

Actually, I'm talking about signs you can buy at a hardware store, like "For Sale", "Beware of Dog", "No Trespassing", etc. They tend to be (in the US, that is) about 18" x 12" and are almost as thick as plasticard.

How do you stop the cardboard from warping?

I am using thin MDF sheets rather than card. ?It will still warp if you go really heavy on the PVA to glue sand on but otherwise it's fairly good and hasn't warped too much.

One guy here did a small cottage and a small wheat field for it as well. The plan was incredibly simple. Make a thick lines of glue next to each other and add just some static grass on it . I can take a pic from it later to day and you see the result.

I would love to see a picture because I can't really picture it in my head.

Unfortunately I work in agriculture so it has made the image of what I want to achieve with crops probably being much more realistic than I think I am likely to achieve.

Finished some more of the urban stuff.  There is about 20 blocks in all and several more of them are almost done.

I am really looking forward to the tourny some very nice looking armies amongst our local group.  Many of which can be viewed here:

I will try and take as many photo's as I can next weekend of the tournament action on this terrain (and the other cool terrain some of the other guys are bringing along).
