Awesome terrain, M4. Very creative. I might have to steal your idea.

Those look really great. I like the snowy look.

Nicely painted figures too!

The pipelines are great, and the very good point is that it works for both epic & 40k.
Great work, keep it up !

So many ideas to steal.... I mean provide inspiration.

Thanks for the comments.  I'm happy to provide any small ideas to steal, or inspire.  I know I have been inspired plenty by the great work done by Tac Comm members.

Some shots of the city board I set up for an Epic game at our local convention this past weekend.  Table is 4 x 8.  Many of the buildings are still works in progress paint wise, as are the Titans, but at least my Imperial Guard is fully painted this year.

Buildings from many different sources, classic Space Marine, home made, Hovels, Gale Force 9, Mechwarrior, Otterman, railroad kits, JR Miniatures, second hand store bits.  Finally getting that built up city I've been looking for.

More pics of the game can be seen here in Photobucket:

And a Battle Report: Battle Report

And pics of other games our group ran at our local convention Feb 6 - 8, including a Warhammer 40K Rogue Trader Tournament, WWII, modified Pirates of the Spanish Main, Zombie skirmish, Gothic, Battletech, & other can be seen here.

Awsome. This is how an imperial city should look
I particularly like the large factory close to the camera in the first couple of photos. Is that a scratch build or did you buy it somewhere?

Warmaster Nice, the rectangular factories (grey, with the slanted roof sections) are/were made by Gale Force Nine for Mechwarrior.
