Excellent work, that looks fantastic! :agree: Is CNC the old computer game Command and Conquer at all, or something else?

CNC Workshop, the Australian company that makes the boards

I had assumed CNC was meant in an industrial manner as in CNC Mill (Computer Numerical Control).

Beautiful minis and a great looking board. I love how well it transitions from the grassland to the city... It doesn't just look like a city has been dropped in the middle of a large field.
The roads do look very large though, not quite sure if they look right. They'd make great canals though and would make for an interesting game with enough bridges to rival Venice :p

Your GZG buildings are what I'm really envious of though... I don't suppose you could be persuaded to lose them in a parcel to Australia?

How do you find their usefulness compared to the price? Cause even in Australia with cheap shipping they are quite costly. Do you find you are getting enough use out of them for their cost? What was the company like to deal with from outside Aus?

are the roads part of the tile or are they a tile by itself?
just wondering if the forgeworld roads would work w/ them

yeah the roads are countersunk into the boards themselves.

Cheers guys, company I believe is:
http://www.miniaturescenery.com/

Set is actually 20 tiles, 11 road, and 9 other.

@ freebooter, I wanted larger roads that looked more like the multilane things you see in real cities as opposed to the little tracks I usually use. Haven't done the lanes on them yet though... chickened out thus far.

GZG buildings, I don't tend to use as much as other buildings cos they take longer to set up and are in another box :) They are kind of cool though, and price acceptable to me at least!

Thanks for the heads up on Otter Glyn, will PM him.

Well I'm looking forward to seeing the line markings :)

I like how the city blocks are about the right size for Epic... Whenever I see urban terrain the city blocks are never big enough.

I'd love to get my hands on that GZG terrain... Been unavailable for a while though. So I've been keeping an eye on Ebay but no luck so far.

Here's a bit of inspiration to help you finish your roads  :;):

130$ for a set. That is expensive. It does look good, but too expensive for my wallet .

Btw, how wide are the roads (in cms)?

I was fortunate enough to know the local supplier. I got mine for a very reasonable price. Unfortunately, he's no longer selling hobby materials

Sometimes, it's not what you know but who you know that helps!

The roads are 10cm wide.

The boards are very nice and have provided much inspiration, I only wish I could afford a set.

On another note, love what you've done with the Stormhammers Onyx.
