Aha! That was why I felt a need to buy that lottery ticket yesterday.

Oh my, oh MY!

Yes, this has done the rounds on a couple of forums and podcasts. It is a wonderful thing, but - as one podcast pointed out - I would be afraid to have the regular gamers over with food and drink anywhere near it! Also, for that price, I could buy a really nice standard table, a protective cover, a wargamer top surface and two armies!

One thing that has escaped reviews so far, and I think is genius is:

"The Game Keeper is an optional insert that converts your table into a more traditional one by making a flush top surface. This also sits more than 2 inches above the playing surface, creating a protected nook to keep your games in progress."

Good luck to these guys, but how many will they actually sell?

It is rumoured that they are coming out with a smaller version as well (I think).

The price and table is their selling cue. Us ordinary gamers can't have it. But then how many of us has even a pool table? :sigh:
But there is a market for these, no doubt. Make it exclusive enough and it's sold.

At that price I can't imagine too much of a market for this. The millionaire D&D demographic aside.

Sell a kidney. Some things in life it's worth sacrificing for.

They had these guys at Gencon in August and I have to say that the table is very impressive.

VERY big.

There were a lot of people talking with them and checking it out.

Think about game companies that play test their games etc. What better way to spend some of that "petty" cash.

Off course I'm not!
I sold it years ago, to be able to go and visit the Bugman's Bar. Once.
