So, the GW Bunker in Oakville (Ontario) seems to be getting out of EPIC as they just sold a whole bunch of EPIC scenery at their annual "Tables and Terrain" auction.

Silver lining, I snagged one of the FW Cathedrals and a Tank Factory... for a whopping $30CDN + tax.

Does anyone know what these were going for at retail, as they aren't on the FW site anymore.

I'll be repainting them soon.

Ah, sorry, it's all over, I believe.

The auctions were on the weekend.  As well, I believe all the EPIC armies they had on display were staff armies... and there didn't appear to be any in the displays when I was there on Sunday... so sad... *sigh*

Wow, you lucked out there, Chroma - I'm not sure if Forge World still make these even; I know they stop producing quite a bit of there Epic terrain range.

$30CDN + tax for both these doesn't sound too bad to me! :D

The cathedral is missing the 12 spires from the roofs, but looks fine without them anyway - and these were a serious bargain too. In the 2004 FW catalogue they retailed at ?60 for the cathedral and ?45 for the tank factory - that's about $130 CDN and $96 CDN respectively!

Lucky man Chroma - I'm just a little bit jealous...

You could use the spires off the new 40k cityfight scenery, if you can find some... most people that have a pack should have some spare.

very cool, thanks for more pics, ill be posting a work in progress on my own z-scale cathedral convertion soon. not that i am doing much more than building a great kit and cutting all the crosses off. and act in itself which i find strangly satisfying since moving to the bible belt :angry:  
 nothing against any of you christians out there, just as long as you leave me to go to hell in my own particulare ideom !  :D

I've been looking for a cathedral and tank factory as well...

If anyone's selling, I'm buying.

I'm also hoping to find some of the FW Tyranid flyers...
