Following on from Volstagg's thread here would a Forge of Souls army list be a good place to add the new daemon engines FW area making, rather than trying to squash them into existing lists?

Also, if the forge of souls is non-aligned to the control a specific chaos god, do they still produce god specific war engines? eg does the forge make plague towers and then transfer them onto nurgle?

If not and it only makes undivided engines such as soul grinders its roll seems a bit pointless/small.

To my understanding the Forge of Souls makes "only" the myriad weapons for Daemons and forges the Soulgrinder.

A properly done general Demon army list might be better, don't think there's an doesn't need to especially connected to the Forge of Souls. Demons are a full published codex army in W40k these days and they would be the most natural home for such things.

There is Chroma's Demon World list, but that is more of a mixed demons and mutant humans list rather than a proper demon list.

You can field "just daemons" with the Daemon World Horde list...  you don't need a single Mutant or Daemon Engine at all.

That list will eventually be updated to include Soulgrinders and other Daemonic Cavalry.
