I posted this over on the SG boards, but I know some people here don't go over there and I wanted EpiComms input on this as well:

So, I've been fielding a lot of Eldar lately, trying out the Eldar changes proposed by Sotec when I came across an old armylist I was working on.

The rules changes don't really have any strong effect on this army and I was wondering how people would go about trying to fight it in a tournament setting.

It's a completely valid army and, at 3000 points, has a whopping fourteen activations.

I may try fielding this later this week, or perhaps a 2500 point version, to see if it's as nasty as it looks (to me!).

Try to break up the force and attack it piecemeal.  You have some extremely mobile formation but also some landed formations.  The bikes are vulnerable to BP hits and the number of units in each formation is not expecially high.

I suspect it would have problems. You'd have to do a lot of 'clipping assault' style a ctions. And even then I'd expect it to take 2-3 Jetbike squads to fight a mech-inf company. Even basic inf-companies would be tough to get rid of. Best you'd be likely to do is break a lot of stuff.

With the proposed reduction in Hit and Run movement, the army isn't *quite* as crazy.  The concept it to do a lot of hit and runs with a lot of support manuevers after each fight, with a focus on clipping engages.  The Guardian formations are there to provide Farseers to maintain the ability to do triple activations and would, most likely, settle in to cover and overwatch.

Depending on how my week goes, I may try a 2500 point version against an unsuspecting opponent... ;)
