It looks on paper to be a different beast from my investigation so far.  ...because the nightwing has established and balanced stats across multiple (all?) the other eldar lists, has 4 different models already, none of which are particularly alike, and we don't need a 4th type of eldar flyer shoehorned in when an existing unit is a perfectly acceptable proxy?  the eldar already have an interceptor, air-ground attack craft and an air transport, if the 40k stats for this thing suggest it's more of a ground attack craft, then use the phoenix stats I just don't see why we need to reinvent the wheel all the time is all..... this will almost inevitably lead to yet another spinoff list of some previously unheard of craftworld as a justification to bung another load of GW cash-cow models in..... but I've said this before many times.... |
