Well you could always say they disappear again after a combat (they disappear back into the webway after saving some poor Guardian's ass etc) or having them stay on the table could also mean they get to be shot up.... Also they really don't have to be OTT stat-wise to keep them a bit more play friendly. Sort of glass-cannon type of thing. A Holofield save plus 5+ or 6+ for saves seems more reasonable than 5+ RA for example. They would be more palatable to the opponent then.

Of course they could be included in place of an Avatar and give them similar hitting power.

The latest Harlequin grand masque list is here (note - there are several iterations in the thread).

It is also worth reading the thread to understand the intentions behind the list - as Elsemore says, they are *very* different from vanilla Eldar. The main problem is finding a way to represent them which matches the 'fluff' (basically *extremely* deadly in CC) that is both challenging to use and fun to play against.

At the moment the list is getting there. It seems reasonably balanced and 'characterful', though there may still be scope for further improvement depending on feedback (as usual).

I really like the idea of them being like the avatar, a one turn thing. Afterall they are known for appearing and dissapearing in battles.
No need to make them to large portion of the army, lets say a couple of stands instead of the avatar or something...

Will be looking at the list some more it looks fun :)
