I've got a pair of titans with 4 (soon to be magnetised) weapons, a Powerfist, a Psychic Lance, a Fusion Lance and a D-Cannon.

What I'm interested in is what experiences people have had using the Fusion Lance and D-Cannon in game on a Phantom.

In a typical game are the alternate weapons balanced enough or generally is it better to run it as counts as with twin pulsars. It won't be for any tournaments or anything like that, just for a friendly game now and then.

What stats will you be using? Swordwind´s or the ones from the Lugganath list?

I´ve played a few games with Lugganath and believe we were close to balancing the different weapons.

The appendix stats from Swordwind are unbalanced, so only use them in friendly games with people you trust not to do something stupid with them.  I prefer the Lugganath stats or "counts as".

I thought the Swordwind stats were a bit too good. I've only seen an old version (v0.2 found via forum search) of the Lugganath list which still appears to use the Swordwind stats. The pdf link on the Wiki Army list page doesn't go anywhere.

I think for now counts as is the best option.

Thanks

I´ve got a 0.4 on my HDD:

Stats:

Fusion Lance 60cm MW2+ Titan Killer (4 – 1 per 15cm range to target)
Tremor Cannon 60cm BP4 Disrupt, Lance
D-Cannon 30cm 4 BP Front Arc, Titan Killer (D3+1)

IMHO the Fusion Lance is a little weak here and the D-Cannon quite nasty.

For better or worse, here is the Lugganath list.  All this was theory hammered and you may very well find that the weapon loads are off.

Note I didn't even bother to give the version a 1.xx.  It is still a 'zero' until I can say I playtested it in any capacity.

I will be getting to the Lugganath list eventually, probably after the Games Day tournament on May 9th.  In the mean time, use the list as a guideline.  If something seems off by all means post a thread and let me know.  I'd like your input on how it plays.
