Post subject:  WE transports and activations

Say a Vampire is ferrying a squad of Black Guardians with a Seer Council (Supreme Commander) from off the board into an assault:

1.  Which activation is used?  2+ for the Vampire, or 1+ for the Black Guardians?

2.  Could the Vampire use the Supreme Commander re-roll?

3.  Could the Vampire use the Seer Council's 'Farsight' ability if attempting to retain initiative?

1. 2+ for the Vampire
2. No, SC is not yet on the table, and it's not his formation which try is trying to activate.
3. No, same reason.


When the Vampire take a blast marker from flak, you don't ask if the blast marker is for the Vampire or the Guardians. It is the same for activation : outside assaults, both formations are considered separated.
