Okay, so I wanted to see how hard it was to bang out an army list (including the fluff, etc.) Here's what I ended up with (I hope this link works): http://www.players.tacticalwargames.net ... ...leId=52 So, it obviously isn't anything official, but I did my best to fake it. Thoughts? Did I make up too much background fluff? Maybe I should have focused on how the craftworld reacted to a particular campaign instead of making up a backstory (like the official published list tend to do). |

I like the overall idea but I think the army list structure is awfully fiddly - lots of adding this or trading that under differing conditions. I think it needs to be pared down to a simpler structure. I'd say something like "6 units from the following list: Falcons, 0-2 Fire Prisms, 0-2 Firestorms..." and then just list the points for each. Let the player just pick and add instead of keeping track of all the swaps and odd options. As far as balance I would be very surprised if the Rending Hammer wasn't a lot better than the Nightspinner, despite a 1:1 swap in the list. |
