1. Recommended changes Units Fire Prisms ? Prism Cannon, 60cm, AP4+/AT2+, Lance Jetbikes ? Armour 5+ Warp Spiders ? lose scouts Army List Guardian Warhost ? add 2-3 Wraithguard +50 points each 2. Suggested changes Units Avatar ? remove Court of the Young King from ?Weapons? and create as a character unit Howling Banshees - CC2+ Wave Serpents ? add Heavy Weapon Platform to transport options Wraithguard ? Save 3+, lose reinforced armour Army List Swords of Vaul Troupe - Five or six Falcons for 50 points each. ? Up to two Falcons may be replaced with Fire Storms at no additional cost. In addition, any number of Falcons may be upgraded to Fire Prisms for +15 points each. |

these are basicly the rules i've been using for a while they work fine and i approve of them alot. the only thing i can think of thats not there is the farseer getting leader because of the lack of spirit stones in the list any more, he is one of the few charaters with out it. |

Seems these are all startlingly non-controversial! *laugh* I *knew* I should have left the Aspect Troupe in there, just to stir up the masses! Pulsar, I don't think I've seen leader on Farseers tested at all. I've had no problem with them not having it. |

Well, as it stands in the current list, you can get 3x FirePrisms for 250 points. It is a fragile formation but one that has ranged AT fire and also has limited AA capabilities. I understood that the reduction to the ranged AT fire was linked to the addition of the FP to the "Swords of Vaul" because it became more resilient; and the AA was removed because the new "Shields of Vaul" formation made it redundant. So, I am suggesting that, when the "Swords of Vaul" formation is re-introduced, the FirePrism range is reduced at the same time. However, if we are not planning on using the "Shields" (a good move IMO as I felt that formation caused more problems than it solved); then do not take away AA from the FirePrisms. |

Seems all rather good. No Sword of Vaul formation so that is a good thing. Any specifics on what the Avatar and the Court would look like? |

This is mainly a fix for other Eldar lists so one doesn't always have to add: "The [other Craftworld] Avatar doesn't include the CotYK" all the time. |

The Howling Banshees, Mainly because I do not think anyone has tested it other than me (and you know my views  ).I believe Pulsar has played these with CC2+ at least half a dozen times now. |

As a compromise you could allow 1 Fire Storm to replace a Night Spinner in the Night Spinner Troupe. Artillery formations without AA support are always going to be under threat of ground attacks. Does this mean the Falcon and Fireprism Troupes disappear? Or are you leaving them in for backwards compatibility. |
