I re-did the layout for the Biel-Tan Craftworld army list and would like to see what people think of it.

It would normally have a colour watermark/background as well (same background from the Swordwind book), but it makes the file too big to post here... just imagine a relaxing sea of pale green behind everything... *laugh*

Aspect Warrior Troupe = incorrect.

Apart from that the layout looks good :)

Not that I see much point to it without everything else though??
How are the tyranids coming along?

no Voidspinners in the Engine of Vaul and Nightwings have the points cost twice.

but apart from what Markconz said it looks good.

The last three points costs are out of alignment... other than that, looks great.

A couple typos here and there but otherwise it looks good.

Markconz what is wrong with the Aspect Troupe?

I think he just objects to it on a personal level ;).

Chroma, the text renders funny as you scroll through it. What did you use to make the PDF?

Your referring to the Warhost, and your correction is correct.

However, the Troupe has met with mixed reviews.

That's the Warhost, not the Troupe...

Okay, other than the actual *existance* of the Aspect Troupe, I've corrected all the errors found... so far... ?:D

Markconz, this is just an test layout of the 1.8 Eldar rules that were handed off to me by Sotec; this is the set of rules submitted to the ERC for approval, so I'm not making any changes to them... yet... ?:p

One army champ was in favour the other against.  If you look at the Neal's change documents, you'll see that particular random recommendation from Sotec is not included. Why not just use the handbook, and change documents?

Army champs were never supposed to have complete free reign to do as they wish. They were supposed to develop some recommendations for ERC and Jervis's approval.  Given the current situation, I would at least not try and force changes without popular support.

I downloaded pdf from the first post, and it still had 400 points for Asbest Warhost.

Neals docs unfortunately copied things from your handbook, which didn't follow Sotecs proposals. I'd just keep the 1.8 stuff as is, without further changes.

Incorrect Hena.

I noted and corrected him on the copying error you mention and he fixed it. However he still explicitly rejected the troupe proposal as too much change for change sake, same as some other stuff like the Vulture changes.

Everything else is in line with Sotec's 1.8, but that the silly troupe idea is gone, and good riddance to it. If you disagree I suggest you bring it up.

Edit - actually one small mistake that remains is that the revenants should be 650 as in the handbook, not 600 as in the change documents.

That pdf above was just a "sample" sheet, and for finding typos!  *laugh*  It's not, yet, to be used as the "official" Biel-Tan army list.

A corrected version will eventually be posted.
