Only if y'all think it is necessary.  Most people don't play the DE and the ones that do usually zoom in on any thread with the words DARK ELDAR in them (even if the thread is called DARK ELDAR ARE FAIRY GROPERS or worse).  But if you think it would help get most playtesting and feedback...

I just think it's good to have everyone on the same page... page 1.  *laugh*

And having an "official wording" from the Archon lets us work out any rules bugs and such...

And, as a Haemoculi, I like to pin things...

Being that this represents 4/5 of all Dark Eldar players (and I think I am being generous :) ) I will tentatively make this the new rule to be placed in v1.5. ?

Hehehe.... actually that raises the question, how many of us are there?

Scarik, myself, Charad, Tarrisvaal, Rug, Xisor.  Hena has played them twice, Pipboy might be a playing them or still building them - I'm not sure. You (TheLimey) are building an army.  There are others who have mentioned working on their models as well but I haven't seen anything.  So that is nine.

On the flip side, the 1.3 list had over 150 downloads and the 1.4.1 list already has close to 100.  There may be many others out there who are playing proxies or just don't want to share pics of their goodies. :)

That's not bad, for a fan built army, with nearly entirely scratch built vehicles, and for a race which is not one of the most popular in the 40K game.

If we could get the list in the vault on the SG website, then that may also help raise the profile.

It was already there and then Andy removed it...  The list contained a piece of artwork (by permission) that belonged to another gaming company.  Andy removed the list until we could find a suitable piece of artwork for the 'Kashnarak' that didn't have conflicting IP.  But when we finally supplied it he never put it back in the vault.

At first I thought he was just being forgetful but after four responses from him saying "I'll put it back in shortly" I got the message - we don't want it here.

We'll see if he changes his mind after Raiders comes out but to be honest I don't care.  Firebase is going to carry Raiders and that gets THOUSANDS of downloads from a much broader spectrum of players than those who visit the SG forum.

Don't get me wrong - I still support Epic as a game and Raiders will overtly support purchasing GW products for proxies and conversions whenever possible.  I just feel personally slighted.

I can perfectly understand. If it is going into Firebase, then that'll be a big plus, and you are right, it'll get far wider distribution.

Is there still any outstanding bits of the list that havent seen much playtesting as yet? (aside from the new Fleet of Foot rule :) )

Just wondering what to try out next, or if there's a particular army that hasn't been tried out against the DE by anyone we know yet.

The other thing I'd like to see is how well they perform in very large Epic games - so far the largest I've tried was 4000pts - With luck I'll actually have some more raiders and Ravagers into my force sometime over the next couple of weeks (which reminds me - i must text my friend for some more khemri shields...) so I might be able to give it a try...

Was there any luck trying to find out if the Shadowbringer heavy list was broken or not?

Popcorn army hasn't been tried out.  At 3000 points it would easily be achievable with 200 point Warrior formations.  You could get 11 activations at 250 points each (Warriors, Raiders, +Ravager), 1 Archon, 1 Dracon, 1 Webway, and 1 Kashnarak.
Or even smaller... 14 activations, 1 Archon, 1 Webway, 1 Dracon/Kashnarak (your choice).  Of course you'd need 84 stands of warriors and 42 Raiders. :)  And oddly you can get even smaller/more still with some of the 175 point formations thrown in there.

The heavy air list.  Max out 1/3 allotment while bringing the maximum number of Slavebringers.  It would be a LOT of air power and would certainly determine if the Slavebringers are broken.

The maxed out Haemonculi formation.  1100 points of fearless units dropping from an Executor.  Of course there wouldn't be too much left to play with points wise but it might be interesting to see in a larger game.  It would be like 'hammer and anvil'.
