The bonus is that the warlock is likely to take part in 2 or 3 activations (support an assault, use it's activation to assault then support a third engagement) which the other titans can do, but not quite as easily.

I don't think its over the top either, but it is a great piece of kit!

Agreed.  It is a beast but does have it's weaknesses.

The Warlock is no better or worse than a Warlord Titan or Great Gargant, only the variance of its impact is greater.  Would that be a safe conclusion for everyone?

So what's the general consensus?

Overpowered or fairly priced?

I think it's fair to say I'm in the fairly priced camp.

Yes, looks that way.

The question is "why is the Phantom an inferior choice compared to the Warlock and what do do about it?"

Another quick question though - how much is too much for the Warlock?

I think it's fairly priced.

I feel that it's important to consider that it is only the sum of its parts, and needs to combine with other formations to be at its best.  If, therefore, a good opponent starts targetting its supporting formations, it can become vulnerable, and lose the ability to make the most of its abilities to support or lead Eldar assaults.

I agree it can be quite hard for some armies, such as Space Marines, to bring it down, but Space Marines have always had problems dealing with Titans and Super Heavy vehicles, even in Space Marine (providing they didn't take Imperial Guard allies), so this isn't a novelty.

It is also very vulnerable to crossfire, especially if you manage to hit it with a Macro Weapon as part of the crossfire.

My 2c, Warlock is ok. Phantom could do with drop to 700.
