This random force generator allows you to build a Tau army using dice instead of picking it yourself. This can create some very interesting and challenging armies, but is well worth the fun.

I've done a pretty rough online version that does the dice rolling for you (because wargamers hate rolling dice ;-). It doesn't match the original formula exactly but it's pretty close:

Do we still need this thread pinned? I would guess that we will move away from the version of the Tau list that this references from, and so it will become less relevant. Therefore, I have unpinned this thread. If people want it re-pinned, please let me know. Thanks.

No need at this point. As we are kind of beyond the 'possible changes for v4.2' at this point as well, you may want to let that one go.

That's fine by me, it's out of date and I can't be bothered to rewrite it, it's suprisingly difficult to make list logic into hard computer logic.
