Cool When I saw the pic of the Kroot art on the left and the WFB Dwarf art on the right I was thinking "WTF, Squats???" I'm intregued by this fellow in the middle of this pic: http://www.daemonicaura.com/conflict/conflict018.jpg Some kind of field terminal, interfacing w/ the ML network perhaps? The color scheme for "Commander Shadowsun", hmm... looks like the Tau optimized that get-up for urban operations in and around Southbeach, FL.  Wow... | |

Sorry folks but I'm not too convinced by anything there. Except maybe the sniper team idea, although I'm not too keen on the drone and controller models - if I played 40k and wanted to field those I'd convert my own. Not that keen on the Shadowsun art or model (but some of that is just the paint scheme  ). I have to say that I think that the crisis looks rotten, the pose doesn't help (looks like it's standing on a slippery floor and is slowly doing the splits!) and it's no where near as good as what FW are doing. I think my main problem is that the stuff in thes pics are a bit over designed, I like the current clean and simple Tau looks.Still, at least they haven't suffered the indignity of being eaten by the 'nids. Got to agree with colonel_sponsz, the Crisis Suit looks dumb and Shadowsun a bit too much? I like the way the model holds the guns. The sniper teams are better. The vespids are horrible..... |

Wow. I really like the sniper drone team. And I agree that the control station seems for the remote operation of the drones in some way. I dont particularly like Shadowsun, but that is not a problem for Epic. More things to thing about, thanks. |

Look close, did anyone notice the 4-barrell whachimadoodad on the other crisis arm? On page 2 or page 3, they also show what Warseer things is the name of those weapons. PS [OT] keep going and you'll see a Tzeench possession of a Farseer!!! WTF? |

that second pic of Shadowsun looks better - weapons are still a tad big, though. And that possessed Farseer! Easily the best figure of the bunch... and I don't even like Chaos! Gary |

Wanna see the new stealths? How about the stealths with Fusion blaster upgrade? Wanna see the new Ethereal in thrown? I dunno. Those new Stealth suits are ... too bulky looking for me. Then again, I'm basing my new Tau off of Shirow's Appleseed ES.W.A.T. units, the Stealth suits as the 'Orc' suits. Shame rules won't be released until the Summer Campaign (probably). |

I like the bulkier appearence but what do you expect from a Superheavy tank freak.  As for the Ethereals, is it just me or has the appearance suddenly shifted towards ancient Egyptian look?  Is there a conspiracy between Tau and the Necrons?
