Hi,
I would say that it depends on the rest of your List, and maybe somewhat on the type off enemy you expect. As per the current WIP I wouldn?t take the Broadsides if you have the HHAC. Battlesuits aren?t Infantry anymore so far, so you can?t deploy them as garrisons. I hope that this will be changed soon. Another point : If you take 2 Morays in a single Formation they may end up as BTS Goal, not very desirable, given the Fact that you can?t hide .

What makes you think so?

From the rules, section 6.1.5:

On-table garrison units are set up after spacecraft have been
set up. The following types of formations may be set up on
the table as ?garrisons? at the start of the game:
? Formations where half or more of the units (rounding up)
are scouts OR
? Formations where no more than one of the units has a
move greater than 15cms, and where none of the units are
war engines OR
? Any formations that include units with a speed of 0 (zero).

There's no reference in there for infantry. Broadsides can be garrisoned, because their move is only 15. This applies whether they are infantry or LV.

Yes, you are right. I mentioned it only because I tend to use/deploy them into Buildings/ Ruins. That would implicate the Ruins were dangerous Terrain and Building impassable (I think) for LV?s.

In the current CS list of 4.3.1,

I would absolutely avoid broadsides as LV.

They will just implode easier than they should and you will not be able to move them through areas where they should be able to position - like buildings... also, you will have to make terrain checks in areas that don't make sense, like ruins and forests. Also, the broadsides won't get a cover save... they might be hull down, but that's the best you'll get.

So stay away from the broadsides until they are put back to what they should be.

2x morays have more durability but should be dropped in if you want to use them before the opponent has the chance to see them with his entire army!

Support Craft as BTS will be tricky to navigate... take the space craft to dump early damage on the WE targets... well... actually CS has that messed up too at the moment - all our craft are slow and steady at the moment - so probably won't want to drop them in either LOL... hmm... scratch that.

OK,

Use the WIP list until CS gets 4.3.1 sorted. You can take either option you present there. They both work.

cheers,
