I'm currently working on a Kroot list for E:A and would like some support with the naval units. It's been a long time since I've played BFG and I've recently sold all my collection. So I'm looking for someone to help me convert the BFG Kroot list into working E:A units (stats/costings). The Kroot are primitive, but they have a number of naval Vessels, from city sized Warspheres down to fighters and should form a vital part of their list. If you want to get involved and/or need the BFG Kroot list please PM me. |

Not really sure you need to treat war sphere s the same as say a lunar cruiser. For instance they don't hang around in orbit bombing things; they fire thrusters and land on the planet spilling kroot out. Happy to help out if you got any specific actionable questions though. Shoot me a PM anytime. |

Shoot me a PM anytime. Warspheres bury themselves on the planet, deliver troops but also provide support with their weapons batteries (this could be off board support). Then there are half a dozen other vessels inc. drop pods, fighters and alike to consider. If you don't have the PDF, I can send it to you. |

That's rather my point. You don't need to worry about whatever BFG stats they have, mate. A giant vessel (from EA scales) with DC20000 and BP 400 guns isn't really needing anything from the BFG list stats outside fluff and feel. They have neat mechanics available to any EA list, like you said, such as interesting off table support (I'd also suggest the Blitz objective is altered for them as well). Even the smallest BFG fighter is 2.5-3 times the size of a Thunderhawk. Worry about feel and balance for a fun game more than BFG. |
