Frankly I could up the cost by 100 points for support group and 50 for upgrade and then downgrade from there Hena wants to up the cost of something! What a shock! ![]() ![]() Or we can just remove the 30cm AP5+ attack... I'd prefer we didn't increase the points, Hena. Can we at least trial it without upping the cost first? In your analysis you also have to be within 30cm to get those stats Hena. Not something I'm keen on doing when 30+cm-movement assault units are nearby... |

I think that I would prefer to drop the submunitions to a single attack, rather than two. That way, a formation would throw out 4 dice at long range, and twice that at shorter range...? |

I'm not opposed that. But halving shots is a very harsh downgrade, a slight cost decrease could be in order. |

It's been a while since my Tau have gotten an outing, but back when they did, the secondary weapons got used in almost every battle. Not many times per battle ![]() Going to 1x main weapon could be a good idea. Ignore cover is an awesome ability. |

CS - I think dropping the Submunition system to 1x AP5+ and decreasing points the value seems ok at this point. Seeing as the Hammerheads went up in price it would be a nice counter to keep points across the army fairly static (depending on what the points decrease is...) Would we be looking at the cost as 200 per 4 unit formation (50 points per vehicle), or 225? |
