Red Devil - You are reading wrong. EXtra Attacks refers to a weapon which specifically has "Extra Attacks (+x)" in its notes - such as certain close combat weapons.

Titan Killer is a seperate special rule, which does variable damage to one unit per hit, not a number of hits with TK damage.

Do not confuse the 1) Extra Attacks rule and the 2) Titan Killer rule.

1) Extra Attacks (+x), where x = a number.

Extra Attacks rule gives you more chances to hit anything...

2) Titan Killer (Dx), where x is a number.

Titan Killer vs. anything but a War Engine is a no save / no RA save single hit. The (Dx) value is only relivent if you are firing at a WE formation which can take multiple points of Damage Capacity. In that case, the (Dx) value is expanded and thus can then cause more points of damage.

I'd encourage you to reread both rules again.

So, the Ion-phalanx moray is more useful against AP and AT targets typically. The RailCannon Moray is more useful against WE targets typically. There are of course expections to both of these, and that's why I say "typically".

Great! Thanks for that clarification! Gonna have to spread the news around the group I play with, and makes the Ion cannon have a purpose now.
