Yes, I understand ... a vacation into the desert is different than tactical ops !  :laugh:  And I'm sure our hard suits are much different from your uncle's ... that was a long time ago !  :laugh:   :;):

You know, there are a lot of dialects (not so sure it's the ight word but you'll understand) in Italy, and some of them are very hard to understand... But I must confess there are some harder than Sicilian...

Why not? Here in my city every small village sitting in the mountains around has a quite different dialect!!!

It's not easy to learn - not even for us Maltese!

He doesn't have regular access to the net, but when he's here at our parent's home we read the forum together... He never posts as he says that I am the "Public Relation Woman" of the family... :laugh: ?I just think he's lazy... :(8: !!!

Yes, I understand ... a vacation into the desert is different than tactical ops ! ?
Yes... if you pay to go there you have to enjoy, if you get paid, you cannot expect more than hard work!!! I'd probably hate the Desert if I had to go there to psychoanalyze a camel-rider!!!

Was not the "Roma" an Italian Ship sunk by the Allies in WWII ? ???? ?Ground Warfare is my "so called" speciality but I have a "working" knowledge of Naval ...  ? I did graduate from USMC Basic Amphib Training, when I was with the 101 ! ?:laugh: ? And yes, my trips to the Desert were "hard work" ! ? Too Hard ! ? :laugh: ?When the Army decided to send us home becuase the Russkies/Commies folded, they wanted to send me back to the Desert for a 4th time ... before they sent us back to be civilians ... but I gracefully bowed out ... Thanks but no thanks Uncle Sam ! ? :laugh: ?2 months before the Invasion of Iraq, the US Gov't wanted me to do some work for them for 6 months or more ... but I was watching the news ! ?Neither Iraq or Afghanistan appealed to me ! ?I'm hard corps but not stupid ! :;):
