| Post subject: | Forge Knight Changes poll |
This poll is to allow the community to vote on the AMTL Forge Knight detachment. Right now Forge Knights are 375 points for 6 units. They compete directly with sentinels and thunderbolts for support slots and indirectly with Warhounds. At 375 points, I don't think anyone would take these over warhounds except for fluff reasons. We've tried splitting the formation and allowing formations of three units which does cut down on the cost though these guys break if one unit dies. That makes them fairly worthless to take since they don't last appreciably longer than sentinels and cost a lot more. Our goal is to keep hte formation between 5-6 units and at or under the cost of a warhound single to make them a bit more attractive. |

Looks like 5x forge Knights for 225 points will be the starting point for us. This will be wrapped into the Titan List after we've hammered out the CLP. In the mean time I'll put it in the playest changes thread. |
