Most of what you are looking at should be ok. I'm not certain how large the Vanguard assault carrier is, but it might be too large. I'd look for something gorgon sized for that.

Your robot choices will be a bit of a problem too. Both robots are closer to dreadnought sized and the skitter is much much larger. The heavy cyborgs would work for colossus though and I'd look at some of the options earlier in this thread for the crusaders.

Hi many thanks for considering my minis for your admech project, you may like to know that there are more releases to come yet including more infantry types, at least four and also the first of the robots will be with us soon so you may wish to see what else gets released before making to many decisions on your model choices.

I'm nowhere near done yet with the Cybershadows.

Cybershadow Precursors released today FYI.

You could try some Dystopian Wars vehicles too. The looks of some fit well, like the French and i think, from memory, the Russian too.

Hi, Sorry for the thread necromancy but I thought it was better then starting a new thread. I'm looking at starting an Ad-Mech skitarii Army as my first Epic army and just wanted to check what you thought of my model plans. I just want to make sure things are an appropriate size and feel right. Thanks Vaaish The assault carrier is described as being 6cm and from the pictures it looks half as wide, I'm not actually sure how big a Gorgon is I might use the Skitters as heavy tanks then or my other option is to use the EpicUK army list instead and count the skitters as Leman Russ tanks. They also only have one robot option in the list so I can use the heavy cyborgs for that I need to use the skitter for something its just to cool not to use

They are good choices. You could try some Dystopian Wars vehicles too. The looks of some fit well, like the French and i think, from memory, the Russian too. I don't have a pic of the army as I'm still painting it, but I agree with pretty much all you suggest Andy. You can see the Rorqal next to Cybershadows ordinance conveyers on the bottom right - they scale well as the track sections are very similar (and the Novan HIFV as chimedons in the middle) https://i.imgur.com/8VHELIK.jpg

Sadly Dystopian wars is currently dead, Warcradle are going to rerelease it and the Naval game is coming soonish but the land stuff wont be for a while

Yes Jimmyzimms is correct They are splitting the game in 2 - land will be separate from Naval/Air Naval/air is remaining the same scale but they are changing land to be 10mm (I think - might be 15), They have said that they wont invalidate any existing models but what was a heavy tank before will now become a light tank for example so I suspect all the existing light tanks that came moulded on the bases will become invalid Oh and the new land game will be called Armoured Clash I believe it was discussed on a few podcasts/interviews and also covered in some article on the warcradle website

If you're looking for a Gorgon or Macharius, you should at least have a look at these from Trolls Under the Bridge: Gorgon https://www.trolls.cz/collections/6mm-w ... -transport Macharius https://www.trolls.cz/collections/6mm-w ... ts/solarus I have used them a few times and their service is good. They also have a line of Imperial Guard proxies (Leman Russ, Chimera and many variants), but some are only available from their ebay store.
