After 3 rounds of voting elimination rounds, the community has spoken and has selected the following as the most popular potential change for the Warhound Titan's critical hit effect.

Quote:
Critical Hit Effect: The Warhound's Plasma reactor has been damaged. Roll a D6 for the Warhound in the end phase of every turn: on a roll of 1 the reactor explodes destroying the Warhound, on a roll of 2-3 the Warhound suffers one more point of damage, and on a roll of 4-6 the reactor is repaired and will cause no further trouble. If the reactor explodes, any units within 5cms of the Warhound will be hit on a 6+.

We shall now put it to the vote, as to whether this critical hit effect should be adopted for Imperial Warhound Titans.

Vote YES if you want this particular CHE, or NO if you want to keep the original one.

Should this vote fail, well, I'm sure we can manage a good long debate about things before taking any more action. :-)

The poll will run for 7 days.

Yes, I feel it was generally accepted that some change was required and this is the less drastic of the final two choices so should have less balance issues to deal with.

I voted no as I still prefer do one point of extra damage rather than complicate with a random roll.

Me too. Also as the damn thing is still alaive you have to shoot it if its exposed because odds on it will survive. Damage here and now is better than maybe something later.

The original rule (the "no" option) also requires a random roll (for the direction of the stagger), and require a different ruling compared to other imperial titans.

Orks have different crits for differnent 'titans' so I don't think matching the other imperial titans need to be a factor - more getting the right crit for the warhound

I have no objection to a different critical hit being ultimately picked.

This is just the critical hit that turned out to be the most popular compromise suggestion after 3 full rounds of elimination voting.

Should the poll remain positive by the vote's end, I'll take the result to the ERC and see what they think.

Yes but the current option isn't that so I am forced to vote no ;)

Don't you love polls...? :D
