Hello

I slowly aggregating models for a AMTL/Skitarii/Knights army (i.e. one larger collection that can spawn out 3-5k lists for each of the sub types). I have some difficulties identifying the Knight types that there are. I am a GW purist (well, and GW-like custom work) and I would like all Knights to follow the second wave style (the ones in line with the plastic Paladins from Titan Legion box).

Right now I have collected and identified:

12 Paladins (plastic, left model)
3 Lancer (metal, middle model)
3 Crusader (metal, right model)

I have also ordered:
1 Baron (no pic)
3 Errants

According to Google I am now missing:
Castellans (these are the ones that look like Crusader but have a missile pod on the right arm, right?)
Conqueror (how do these look?)
Warden (I know the old "dumpy" model but was there ever a Warden in the "new" range?)

Any other types that I am missing?

That's correct. Though it's a multibarrel Gatling Cannon, not a rocket pod.

These aren't Knights. As per standard GW retconning, robots used to have the designation "Crusader, Castellan, Cataphract, Colossus and Conqueror. Then they appropriated the first two for Knights, and dumped robots from the collective universe. Much like the new Space Marine Thunderfire Cannon. An original name if ever I heard one. I wonder what these multibarrel green things on the left, are.

Because the Robots were released in 40K, there may be some cross-scale issues. But the robots don't come close to comparable in size either Epic or 40K.

These were not redone, as far as I'm aware. The following URL shows all "old" range miniatures.

I use the Paladin 1's as Errant Seneschals, and the Paladin 2's as Paladin Seneschals.

Seems like you've covered the "new" range pretty well. GW didn't really have them in the continuity very long. And once Epic went south, there wasn't much call for them in 40K.

Right, from my recollection, we had:

1st edition:
Knight wardens
Knight Lancers
Knight Paladins

Early 2nd edition (Citadel Journal 1):
Knight Praetorians
Knight Centurions
Knight Lords

Late 2nd edition (Titan Legions):
Knight Paladins
Knight Lancers
Knight Errants
Knight Crusader
Knight Castellan
Baron

Any imagery of these? I haven't seen anything regarding them.

So they've just been rebadged? That's cool. I'm glad there's not a series of Knights out there I was unaware of.

I'm still trying to find just one baron miniature and a few metal paladins to make senashals out of. i have one lancer coming to me next week and if i'm lucky be able to get more, if not , i'll be using surplus btech mini's.
I'm lucky enough to have 3 crusaders and 3 castillians though and also 6 errants, though the errants cost me nearly 30 dollars for three.

Hey Helge,, where did you order a knight Baron from??? i want one!
