Obviously, noone's taking it.
What if it gave +5cm speed to the Titan? (Not stackable).

Not so keen. Could it cost minus points instead perhaps? Like -25 or something?

+5cm speed makes the titan better overall, not just at Corvus-related activity. Based on the OGBM feedback, I could see people taking it primarily for the speed benefit and still only using the Corvus' other abilities as an ancillary benefit.*
It's a very short range, primarily offensive, one-shot assault weapon that (nominally) functions as a force multiplier on a different formation (buying the transported formation is really additional cost for using the Corvus). That's darn hard to balance.
I think the question is to ask what would make the Corvus' role commensurate with its point costs. What makes a Corvus better when used as a Corvus?
My inclination would be to include troops when you buy it, with the condition that they must deploy in the Corvus. A specific point discount on troops bought for/deployed in the Corvus would be fairly easy to balance, offset against the reduced deployment options. That gets the player value from the intended, dedicated use. Possibly, you could include some sort of one-shot set of CC/FF attacks representing blasting charges and assault ramp and such when the troops dismount as a one time assault boost as well.
Past that, my brain runs towards special rules. For example, instead of extra speed in all cases, +5cm to charge/countercharge moves. Or giving units dismounting from it a +1 assault resolution. I'd avoid stuff like that, though, until it's a last resort.
*I realize that our discussions on combining transport/speed upgrades in OGBM may be the genesis of this idea. However, an Imperial titan using a Corvus is not the same as shifting a Gargant to a Krawla. The former is a module. The latter is really a change in the chassis type.

While the speed increase would probably unbalance all of the titans, it does open up one cool option: the Minoris. Giving them the Corvus and having it give +5 speed would allow them to function as infantry transports along the lines of the Gorgon.
I like Neal's suggestion of the discounted infantry, but what about something along the lines of "If at least two of a titan's hardpoints are equipped with Corvus Assault Pods, it gains +5 speed" This way you can't just slap a single assault pod on a Warlord for a speed boost, and instead requires a dedicated investment as an assault transport.

I'm not sure that much CAN be done to make the corvus pod more attractive on titans. It has uses, but most epic games probably won't see that happen unless you are doing a scenario where you are attacking a static objective. Making the infantry come with the pod in the cost might have uses as further assault deterrent since the titan can drop out the stands for further support.
