I have read Mechanicum, is Titanicus any good? Does it contain any interesting new ideas to add to the Adeptus Titanicus list?

Little extra detail.

There is one moment where a battlegroup of Titans slaves its weapons fire to one Titan's targetting, which might suggest replacing the Commander ability with some sort of "simulatious Sustain Fire" ability instead.

I enjoyed both, though Mechanicus was the better of the two. Titanicus has slichtly more detail on the "Omnissiah is Emperor" vs. "Omnissiah and Emperor" Schism in the M41 AdMech, and some better descriptions of the Skitarii, both Hypasist (sp?) and Praetorian, but not much else in terms of extra info, aside from E&Cs comment.

That does sound like something very interesting but in a list with generally few activations and requiring quite a spread out force can you see anybody using it.

No, not really.

I really enjoyed Titanicus, the Titan sequences in particular were a good read. Some questionable parts:

(spoiler) Rollover to read

Imperial Warhound equipped with a vulcan megabolter and a plasma blastgun kills a Chaos Reaver. Surprise attack ok, but really?

(/spoiler)

But I enjoyed it overall, recommended to any titan fan. I think it's in softback now, so less £££.
