Current titan weapon system on AMTL2.0 works fine IMO and better than the modular one. With exception to Fire Control Tower (but that could be fixed by changing it to tactical weapon)

I suppose you mean support weapon?

Redsimon:  Dysartes still pokes his head in on occasion.  I wouldn't be keen on taking the list away from him unless he pulls something like Crimson Fury (SMs) and disappears completely.

Dysartes probably posts as much as Francois does on the IG list.  In the absence of noticeable progress in EA development overall, I'm not going to knock either of them for their freqeuncy of posts.

Ok, just wanted to know.

A KnightWorld armylist is forming in my head. But i need to know the original stats for the Warden, before i can write something down.

Stats are on the last page of the AMTL list. Or are you talking about the Space Marine era stats?

As for testing the one-shot weapons in 2.0 I will start playing once my army is painted.

As for replacing Knights and Ordinati, as mentioned we have to come up with other units.

My idea was to replace the shooty Knights with tanks (Cataphractes of course). As AM is high-tech, my favourites are the Destroyer

and the Executioner.

The close combat Knights are a bit more tricky. We need an equivalent of armoured close assault units. Any ideas?

Then there is the Ordinatus gone. I don't think it needs a replacement. Instead of it you can buy more Titans.

One of the guys I play with wrote a Knight list that seems to work well.  It's based off the same cost and general formation size as the knight contingent in the AMTL, with the adddition of other cav-themed units - Rough Riders, Scout Bikes, Sentinels, mounted infantry - as support.

I'll get him to email it to me and post it.

That would be helpful. Thanks, Neal.

Dysartes was absent for so long for a selection of reasons.

1, Helping design/write background for another game Command Horizon

2, Forgetting his sign-in information, combined with the board moving.

3, RL concerns.

4, The lack of anything happening last time I looked in (late September), and especially the lack of things happening on the areas I'd outlined as needing looking at.

5, Continued work on something I'd said wasn't going to go into the army list (modular weapons costs) - fine for AT3, no need for AMTL in E:A.

Anyway, I'm taking stock of posts that happened while I was out of town, then we'll try and get this rolling again, shall we?

I always said the main reason I was collating ideas for modular weapons was in order to balance the Titans with other Imperial armies (Because the one-cost titans quite simply are not balanced for that type of usage), rather than trying to surplant the AMTL armylist (Which I'm not highly interested in to be honest).

Anyways at last vote we decided to go with a set of fixed configurations for using Titans with other Imperial armies anyways... the Modular list hasn't been updated in a while now.

PS: Welcome back. :)
