I think you would be better served by dropping a few more laser blasters down a notch and dropping the tld from the warhounds to get a sentinel formation

50 pts from the Warhounds from TLDs and switching out the Thunderbolts to Sentinels would give me enough points to give all the Reavers CMLs and then a Veteran princeps.

If I swapped Laser Blasters for TLDs then that's another 50 pts I wouldn't know what to do with.

Tried something to fit in a bunch of stuff, and some carapace lasers.

Reaver 1: Apocalypse Missile Launcher, Plasma Cannon, Turbolaser Destructor, Carapace Multilasers: 675

Warhound Pack: TLD/Vulcan megabolter, TLD/Plasma Blastgun:550

Warhound: TLD, Vulcan Megabolter: 300

Sentinel squadron: 100

cleaned up the list, removed the laser blasters to get the points, switched out the Thunderbolts for sentinels, and gave all the Reavers some CMLs.

I feel as the mini downgrades on my Reavers to get my warhounds some extra firepower was needed, just dunno how much needed.

Did you remember to brush your bats?

That list is fairly sensible as far as I can see (but I'm no expert), but with CMLs going up to fifty points, those Reavers will all cost 25 points more under v.3.16 of the list.

You won't like the answer, but it's best in the old books, Adeptus Titanicus, Codex Titanicus, that stuff.

The Black Library novel Titanicus came out last year and is an excellent, modern, look at the Titan Legions.

It's not about Titans specifically, rather Adeptus Mechanicus in general and also *SPOILERS*, but Deus Ex Mechanicus short story by Andy Chambers himself is one of my favorite pieces of 40k fiction (included in the - otherwise average at best - Let The Galaxy Burn compilation, and possible to find on the net if you look hard enough).

Also "Mechanicus" has some bit about Horus Heresy era Titans.
