So you can easily swap weapons. All of my weapons are magnetized. It's better than using blue tack.

A formation of sentinels are compulsory to guard your lonely Reaver at the back from horrible teleporters looking for the BTS.

I concur. A Sentinel screen can be very effective.

Weapon swaps!

You're never "locked in" to a weapon configuration and can mix in match as you play games.

Edit: here's a question, how the hell do I model the Carapace Landing pad?  I'd feel stupid for having a big square with a painted H on it.

You basically have two options. Option one is to try to find an old CLP model on eBay or similar. There's one here (I've used 'code' tags to stop the board messing up the ampersands):

Not cheap, though.

The alternative would be to make one yourself. I've gone for a 30mm-diameter disc of 2mm-thick plasticard, with a 25mm W40k base stuck on the bottom, and a small piece of plasticard below that. Simple, but it should look good enough once it's painted. You could also add some sort of ridge around the edge from either green stuff or maybe just card.

Get some of Forgeworld's brass etched eagles and stick one of those on instead. You'd be surprised how much it would enhance a simple piece of plasticard. You could add a small hatch (circular piece of plasticard), some strips of packing material (the stuff that is wrapped around large cardboard boxes or various DIY resources that got a sort of diamond chaped pattern on it) for a bit of extra texture.

A note on magnets.
1) They are great on Reavers.
2a) Warhound weapons with the side mounting slip to point towards the floor unless you get stronger magnets (3mm x 1mm Neodymium magnets wont't hold them straight).
2b) FW Warhounds work best with FW weapons (My pair only take FW weapons, the others won't fit under the carapace as they rub the legs)
3) They are a pain to get right on the Metal Warlords, I've got the TLD's on the carapace glued on (I haven't found any other suitable weapons to fit those mounts) and the arms I have magnetized but the Warlord has distinct left and right weapons that look wrong in the opposite arm slots. They also need a removable extension to use both the current weapons and the older metal and plastic weapons (P.Fist and Chainfist fit normally, long arms).
4) I've got a plastic warlord though that mounts all the old weapons
5) Don't bank on getting all the weapons you want, I'm still missing a chunk of the weapons (Las Burner, Laser Blaster, Quake Cannon, Landing Pad) with only a single version of a few others. CCW, TLD, VMB, Inferno and PBG are easy to get, Volcano, Gatling, ML and TLD are on new models.

There's super thin friction tape that can be used to prevent that if you stick it on one of the magnets.

They work great on my Titans.

Reaver 1: Laser Burner, Turbolaser Destructor, Turbolaser Destructor: 625

Reaver 2: Laser Burner, Turbolaser Destructor, Turbolaser Destructor: 625

Reaver 3: Carapace landing pad, Quake Cannon, Quake cannon: 725

Sentinel Squadron: 100

Thunderbolt Squadron: 150

Warhound Pack: Inferno Gun/Vulcan megabolter, Inferno Gun/Vulcan megabolter: 500

Warhound: Plasma Blastgun, Vulcan Megabolter: 275

Alright, I got some dakka and I got 6 Titans and some support.

My only concern is now I have a large fire magnet that if it dies, I just lost a major chunk of firepower, if I opt to keep the Reaver at CLP with 2 AMLs, what could I upgrade on the other two Reavers to get them more firepower?

I want a nice distribution of killing.

Hiding out back on the blitz with sentinels in support to prevent teleporters/assaulters, and even better if you can get in terrain and I think your reaver will be pretty good at dishing it out from extremely long range. Who knows, you might even get lucky like I did last night when my poor little reaver just refused to die. :)
